Engineering-grade nylon
Nylon parts that work for a living
Gears, hinges, clips, brackets, wear parts — nylon’s toughness and fatigue resistance make it the material real mechanisms are made of.

The detail
The workhorse polymer, printed to order
Nylon (PA) earns its reputation: it’s strong, slightly flexible, shrugs off repeated stress, and wears beautifully against other parts. Where PLA snaps and ABS creaks, nylon keeps cycling — which is why it’s the go-to for functional mechanisms and load-bearing parts.
Need more stiffness? Carbon-fibre reinforced PA-CF delivers a serious step up in rigidity and dimensional stability for structural work — available on request, just mention it in your quote.
Moving parts
Gears, bushings, hinges and latches that survive thousands of cycles without wearing out.
Load-bearing
Brackets and mounts that take real force — nylon bends before it breaks, then bounces back.
PA-CF stiffness
Carbon reinforcement for parts that must not flex: jigs, frames, drone and robotics components.

FAQ
Questions, answered
When should I choose nylon over ABS or PLA?
Choose nylon when the part moves, wears, or takes repeated load — it outlasts both in fatigue and abrasion. For rigid decorative or low-stress parts, PLA or ABS will save you money.
What is PA-CF and when is it worth it?
PA-CF is nylon reinforced with chopped carbon fibre. It’s significantly stiffer and more dimensionally stable than plain PA — worth it for structural parts, jigs and anything where flex is the enemy. Request it in your quote comments.
Does nylon absorb moisture?
Nylon is hygroscopic — it slowly absorbs ambient moisture, which can slightly soften parts over time. For most applications this is a non-issue; for critical ones, ask us about material choice and we’ll advise.
How accurate are printed nylon parts?
Nylon prints to tight tolerances for an FDM process, and we compensate for its shrinkage in slicing. For press-fits and bearing seats, tell us the critical dimensions and we’ll advise on what’s achievable.
