The detail
Every process improvement deserves a fixture
The best workshops are full of little aids: a guide that makes the drill hit the same spot every time, a cradle that holds an awkward part for assembly, jaws that grip without marring. Machining those from aluminium costs enough that most never get made. Printing them changes the economics completely.
Printed tooling is fast to make, cheap to revise, and easily stiff enough for the vast majority of hand and light-machine work — especially in ABS, Nylon or PA-CF.
Drill & cut guides
Repeatable hole placement and cut lines without marking out every single part.
Assembly fixtures
Cradles and nests that hold parts at the perfect angle, so assembly is faster and rework rarer.
Gauges & checkers
Go/no-go gauges and inspection aids that put tolerance checks in everyone’s hands.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Is printed tooling durable enough for daily use?
For hand-tool and light-machine work, absolutely — ABS and Nylon fixtures survive daily workshop life for years. For high-clamp-force or hot applications, tell us the loads and we’ll spec the material honestly.
Can you print soft jaws for my vice or chuck?
Yes — printed soft jaws grip delicate or odd-shaped parts without marring. Model them to your jaw pattern, upload, and pick a tough material like ABS or Nylon.
What tolerance can a printed fixture hold?
Well-designed printed fixtures locate parts repeatably to fractions of a millimetre. For critical datums, design in adjustability or tell us the key dimensions so we can advise on orientation.
We change our process often. Is printing still worth it?
That’s exactly when it’s worth it — revising a printed fixture costs a fraction of remachining. Many customers iterate fixtures monthly as their line evolves.
